Ghandruk is a beautiful & prosperous Gurung village on the foothill of Mt. Annapurna Range in Mt. Annapurna Conservation Area Project, the native home-land of famous Gurkha soldiers. One of the best point to admire Mt. Annapurna South and considered as one of the shortest trekking destination in the region from Pokhara and Kathmandu. The other panoramic high mountain sceneries are Hiunchuli and Mt.Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fistail) as well as surrounding typical Gurung village of Modi Valley.The trek to Ghandruk starts from Nayapul or from Dhampus phedi via Landruk village. This trekking course is suitable able for amateur trekkers seeking tea-house based trek or original camping trek within a short span of time. As an extension, one can trek up to Ghorepani (Poon Hill )if your time permts. Ghorepani is  another popular  trekking destination in order to view Mt. Dhaulagiri and Kaligandaki Valley.

Scheduled itinerary:
Day 01.
 

Arrival in Kathmandu: Transfer to hotel for check in and briefing on the trip. An introductory sightseeing trip to downtown Kathmandu or explore around hotel depending on your flight arrival.

Day 02.
 

Kathmandu: Guided sightseeing covering all the major sightseeing points in and around Kathmandu, covering the prominent landmarks such as: Soyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan, Kumari (the living goddess) Temple and Durbar Square Kathmandu.

Day 03. Kathmandu to Pokhara: After breakfast, transfer flight or drive to Pokhara (915m).
Day 04. Pokhara to Nayapul and Ghandruk Village: Drive (2hours) to Nayapul, and then trek (4hours) to Ghandruk Village.
Day 05. Ghandruk Village to Nayapul: Trek (3 to 4 hours) to Nayapul, and then drive (2hours) to Pokhara. Check in hotel. Rest.
Day 06. Pokhara: Rest and sightseeing.
Day 07. Pokhara to Kathmandu: By bus or flight. Check in hotel.
Day 08.
 

Kathmandu: After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur. Return to hotel for refreshment. Evening, sightseeing and shopping around downtown Kathmandu and Thamel Street.

Day 09. Transfer to airport: Departure from Kathmandu or make extension as per your time-frame.
