Best Season To Visit Nepal
Nepal is beautiful country in
term of natural beauty. However, we can visit Nepal all around the years, month,
days and so on. Nepal has mainly four distinct seasons and each distinct seasons
has its distinct attraction to offer. We can experience four season in Nepal,
the seasons are classified as follow:-
Winter (December-
February)
To the mountainous region at higher elevation of Nepal, this season is noted for
occasional snowfall. Hence it is ideal for trekking at lower elevation,
generally below 3000 meters.
Spring (March - May)
In this season, the hilly region of Nepal bear different varieties of wild
flower, especially the rhododendron the national flower of Nepal which make the
hillside above 5000 meters a haunting paradise during this season. Mildly warm
at lower elevation and at higher elevations over 4000 meters, you can able to
see the excellent mountain views and temperature is quite moderate.
Summer (June - August)
While visiting Nepal you can experience rainy season in the summer. Summer
months, which constitute the monsoon season, continue up to mid-September is wet
and warm; traveling during this period is not advisable for trekking during
summer month. However, these times are good for the keen botanist as the higher
valleys and meadows blossom with flowers and lush vegetation.
Autumn (Sept. - Nov.)
Visiting Nepal during the month of autumn is the best time and offer excellent
weather, better visibility and tantalizing mountain views. This season marked
the major and important festival of Nepalese where you may have opportunity to
see the Nepalese important festival Dashin and Tihar.
