 Tashi (Tesi) Lapcha Pass Fixed Departure - Nepal

Rolwaling Valley. Rolwaling Valley, the native birthplace of most of the world renown young Sherpa climbers. The trek to Tashi (Tesi) Lapcha Pass starts from Dolkha Bazaar next to the Charikot Bazaar. Trekking throughout beautiful landscape and the typical Sherpa villages, trekkers arrive the famous glacier lake Tso Rolpa Tal within a week from Dolkha Bazaar. Before attempting to cross the Tashi (Tesi) Lapcha Pass (5755m), it is advisable to have a day rest for a proper acclimatization and warm up. It is one of the tough and challenging passes in the great Himalayan Region of Nepal due to avalanche and loose rocks falling from the top of surrounding mountains. So pre-caution to be taken to avoid unpleasant encounters while crossing the pass from Tal to Ngole and then Thame. The famous and world record holder Mr. Appa Sherpa is from the Village. From Na, interested trekkers may climb the Pachermo peak (6187m) but permit should be obtain in advance in Kathmandu before starting a trekking course to the region. After crossing the Tashi Lapcha pass, the trek enters Mt. Everest Region, the Sagarmatha National Park.

Scheduled itinerary:
Day 01.
 
Arrival Kathmandu: Transfer to hotel for check in and briefing on the trip. An inductory sightseeing trip to downtown Kathmandu or explore around hotel depending on your flight arrival.
Day 02. Kathmandu: Guided sightseeing covering all the major sightseeing points in and around Kathmandu, covering the prominent landmarks such as: Soyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan, Kumari (the living goddess) Temple and Durbar Square Kathmandu.
Day 03. Kathmandu (1350M) to Dolkha via Charikot Bazaar: Drive to Dolkha Bazaar approximately 5hrs.
Day 04. Dolkha to Singati (950m): Trek.
Day 05. Singati to Manthali (1070m): Trek.
Day 06. Manthali to Simi Gaon (1990m): Trek.
Day 07. Simi Gaon to Kharka (3000m): Trek.
Day 08. Kharka to Beding (3690m): Trek.
Day 09. Beding to Na (4180m): Trek.
Day 10. Na: Rest for acclimatization.
Day 11. Na to Chhyugima (4561m): Trek.
Day 12. Chhyugima to Tashi (Tesi) Lapcha Base (5000m). Trek.
Day 13. Tashi Lapcha Base to Ngole (5110m): Trek. Crossing Tashi (Tesi) Lapcha Pass 5755m).
Day 14. Ngole to Thame Village (3820m): Trek.
Day 15. Thame Village to Namche Bazaar (3440m): Trek.
Day 16. Namche Bazaar: Sightseeing in and around Namche Bazaar. Enjoy a glimpse of Mt. Everest.
Day 17. Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m): Trek.
Day 18. Lukla to Kathmandu: By flight and check in hotel. Rest.
Day 19.
 
Kathmandu: After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur. Return to hotel for refreshment. Evening, sightseeing and shopping around downtown Kathmandu and Thamel Street.
Day 20. Transfer to airport: Departure from Kathmandu or make extension as per your time-frame.
